Real Provencher of the Rotary Club of Magnolia shared his story of spearheading a global peace grant for Sierra Leone at the February 18th Rotary Club of EMC luncheon. Provencher shared the focus of the grant was to build a collaborative program to provide leadership training, team-building skills, collaborative problem solving, and consensus building skills. Provencher shared how this occurred even through COVID shutdowns, and gave specifics of the outcomes and sustainability. The Rotary Club of EMC will donate a book to the Timber Lakes Elementary School library in Real Provencher's honor.
