Splendora ISD Superintendent Dr. Dustin Bromley was the featured speaker at the Rotary Club of East Montgomery County on November 4, where he provided an update on district growth, student achievement, and major projects designed to support the community's needs.
Dr. Bromley began by highlighting the district’s continued enrollment growth, with student numbers reaching nearly 6,000. He emphasized that this growth reflects families choosing Splendora ISD for its community atmosphere, high-quality programming, and commitment to student success.

One key point of pride shared was the number of Industry-Based Certifications earned by Splendora High School students—more than 400 certifications last year alone. These certifications help students graduate with valuable, career-ready skills and support pathways that lead directly to higher education, technical training, or the workforce.
Dr. Bromley also shared Splendora ISD’s mission, vision, and belief statements, emphasizing the district’s focus on “Cultivating Exceptional People” and preparing students to be resilient, innovative, and empowered decision-makers. The district’s Community-Based Accountability System (CBAS) was a central topic, reinforcing Splendora ISD’s commitment to being accountable to the community—not just state mandates—when measuring student success.
The presentation also covered major construction updates funded through the voter-approved 2022 and 2025 bond programs, which include replacement campuses for Peach Creek Elementary and Greenleaf Elementary, the expansion of Splendora High School, the construction of Splendora Junior High, and several specialized facilities designed to support fine arts, CTE, and district operations.
Dr. Bromley concluded by emphasizing the importance of strong community partnerships, such as the one between Splendora ISD and the Rotary Club, in supporting students in both academic and personal growth. He thanked the members for their continued service to local families and expressed his appreciation for their ongoing support of the schools.
