During the luncheon, members caught up, exchanged Rotary news, and extended warm wishes to those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. Members were reminded to volunteer or find sponsorships or teams for the Rotary Club EMC’s 28th Annual Golf Classic. The tournament will take place on April 12, 2024, at Oakhurst Golf Club, teeing off with a shotgun start at 9 am. Secretary Suann Hereford introduced the guest speaker, Ellen Delap, a seasoned entrepreneur and business owner with over two decades of experience. Delap, a devoted wife, mother, and Gigi, specializes in working with individuals with ADHD as a certified professional organizer.

Delap captivated the audience with her four proven strategies for business organization:

  • Prioritize with Purpose: What visual aids can you employ to stay on track?

  • Organize with Intention: Which areas of your business are you most organized in, and why?

  • Delegate and Collaborate: Who are your most effective collaborators?

  • Embrace Happy Boundaries: What strategies do you use to wrap up your day? How do you prioritize self-care?

She provided members with a handout outlining these strategies and engaged them with thought-provoking questions to deepen the discussion.

The presentation resonated deeply with members, who found Delap’s insights and left the luncheon equipped with valuable tools for enhancing their businesses and personal lives alike.
