Rotarians visited Peru through their "Armchair Traveler," Dr. Miguel Caceres. Originally from Peru, Dr. Caceres provided highlights of the country, such as Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail, and the Rainbow Mountains. He also shared images of the Nazca Lines. The hummingbird, condor, monkey, and spider geoglyphs were created by the Nazca people sometime between the fourth century B.C. to the 10th century A.D.

To show their appreciation for speaking, Rotary Club of EMC President Suann Hereford donated a library book to Timber Lakes Elementary School in Dr. Caceres' honor.
